- HOW MANY TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD?
- 123,000 tickets are available for sale and 6,000 tickets won as prizes.
- HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?
- Tickets are 3 for $100, 9 for just $250, or a single ticket for just $50.
- WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR PURCHASING TICKETS?
- The following are the guidelines for purchasing tickets:
- • One method of payment
- • Only one envelope will be mailed containing tickets to an Ontario address
- • All 3 or 9 packs must contain the same purchaser’s information with up to a maximum of three names and will
be mailed to the primary ticket holder (the first name that appears on the ticket) - • Post-dated cheques will not be accepted
- • Cheques in excess of $500 must be certified
- WHAT HAPPENS IF A BAD PAYMENT IS RECEIVED?
- If your cheque is returned to us by the bank you will be contacted by LHSF and given an opportunity to provide replacement payment within two business days. Any tickets issued will be considered invalid until replacement payment is received.
- WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF WINNING?
- The odds of winning depend on the number of tickets sold. All inquiries, if any, on the odds of winning, are to be made to the licensee prior to the purchase of ticket(s).
- HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY TICKET?
- You should receive your ticket in approximately 2 - 3 weeks after the order is placed.
- IS MY TICKET PURCHASE TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
- No, lottery tickets are not tax deductible.
- CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC TICKET NUMBER?
- No. Ticket numbers are consecutive and computer-generated.
- CAN SOMEONE WHO LIVES OUTSIDE ONTARIO OR OVERSEAS BUY A TICKET?
- The lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of purchase. Tickets cannot be mailed to addresses outside the province of Ontario.
- HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
- Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.
- WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKET?
- You do not need your ticket to claim your prize. Your name, address, and phone number is recorded in the database along with your ticket number. If you would like a replacement ticket, you can call 519-488-9898 or toll free 1-866-594-6880.
- HOW CAN I BE SURE MY TICKET IS IN THE DRAW?

- WHAT IS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PRIZES?
- There are 3,146 prizes.
- WHAT IS THE TOTAL PRIZE VALUE?
- Total prize value is $2,020,328.95.
- HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CLAIM MY PRIZE?
- Prizes must be claimed within twelve (12) months of the Final Draw.
- WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT PICK UP MY PRIZE IN PERSON?
- If someone other than the winner is claiming the prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize winning letter.
- WHAT CONTROLS ARE IN PLACE FOR THE DRAW?
- Winning tickets will be drawn under the supervision of Scrimgeour & Company, Chartered Accountants. Records of Scrimgeour & Company, Chartered Accountants shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers.
- HOW WILL I KNOW IF I’VE WON A PRIZE?
- The primary ticket holder who wins a major prize including all cash prizes will be notified by phone. The primary ticket holder who wins a gift card(s) will receive their prize through Canada Post. Major prize winners will be published in the London Free Press on Saturday, January 16, 2010. A complete list of winners will also be posted online on the same date at www.londonmillionaire.ca. A printed list of winners is available upon request from the London Health Sciences Foundation.
